SPECIMEN PUNCHING

A specimen punch is a cutting device used to punch defined specimens according to standards (DIN or ASTM) or custom dimensions from various non-metallic and metallic materials for tensile testing, tear strength, or basis weight. Sample punches are used handheld and are particularly suitable for elastomers, paper, cardboard, or foils. For punching specimens made of non-ferrous metals (light metals) and sheet metal, a punch with a punch and die is used.
