Our punching knives and dies are made from high-quality solid steel, such as tool steel 1.2379. These punching tools are hardened and ground, making them particularly robust. Solid steel punching knives are ideal for punching thicker elastomers or for extremely precise punching projects. They are particularly durable because they can be reground. Solid steel allows us to produce very small and precise punching knives and dies with customized contours. Strip steel punching knives, on the other hand, are made from strip steel.
